Sandeman Fine Ruby Port is a classic Portuguese fortified wine produced by Sogrape Vinhos in the Douro Valley. Crafted from a blend of traditional grape varieties—including Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, and Touriga Franca—this port undergoes fermentation with skin maceration to extract optimal color and flavor. The wine is then aged in oak casks in Vila Nova de Gaia, allowing it to develop its signature depth and finesse. This port pays homage to the original ruby Ports shipped by George Sandeman in 1790, maintaining a rich, robust character with a modern balance.
