Appearance: Deep mahogany or caramel-amber with rich burnished tones.

Aroma: Intense dried fruits like raisins, figs & sultanas; dark chocolate, vanilla, warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg; a subtle citrus peel and oak hearth smoke.

Palate: Lush sweetness of sherry dominates—dried fruit, dark berries, rich toffee, tempered by oak spice, buttered toast, a touch of orange zest and warm baking spice.

Finish: Long, warming and lingering. Dried fruit and sherry linger, soft oak tannins and a whisper of smoke carry through, with a slightly tannic and spice-etched aftertaste.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve neat or with a drop of water to coax out subtler notes. Best in a tulip or Glencairn glass at room temperature. Exceptional with dark chocolate desserts, rich cheeses (e.g. Stilton or aged cheddar), or smoky charcuterie. Also ideal as a contemplative dram after dinner.
