KWV Chardonnay is a white wine from the Western Cape (Coastal/Western regions) of South Africa. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The wine shows a balance between fresh fruit flavours and some oak or creaminess in many versions, depending on the vintage and style.
Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Pale golden to straw yellow, with good clarity.

Aroma: Notes of pineapple, peach, lime and orange blossom; subtle mineral undertones and sometimes a hint of vanilla or oak.

Palate: Medium bodied; tropical and citrus fruit flavours (pineapple, peach, lime) dominate, with a chalky or creamy texture; oak influence mild, adding complexity.

Finish: Lingering and smooth; creamy or slightly buttery notes, with refreshing acidity that gives a crisp aftertaste.

ABV: ~13 – 14% depending on vintage.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve chilled (around 10-12 °C). Best with seafood (grilled fish, shellfish), creamy pasta, poultry with light sauces, or soft cheeses. Excellent as a refreshing dinner wine or for enjoying outdoors.
