Appearance: Warm amber with good clarity, moderate viscosity.
-
Aroma: Sweet malt and barley, vanilla toffee, light fruit (peach, pear), subtle oak, a very faint peaty or smoky touch.
-
Palate: Soft fruits (peach / pear), caramel, honey, mild oak spice; smooth grain whisky warmth, balanced sweetness.
-
Finish: Medium length; warming and smooth, lingering malt sweetness and oak, with a slight dry or smoke edge in some batches.
-
ABV: 40%
Serving Suggestions:
Enjoy neat in a whisky tumbler or Glencairn glass to appreciate its subtle aroma. If you prefer, serve over a single large ice cube to tame the sweetness slightly. Also mixes well in simple whisky-&-soda, whisky and cola, or in whisky cocktails that benefit from a soft, approachable base (e.g. Whisky Highball, mild Old Fashioned). Pairs nicely with mild cheeses, caramel desserts, roasted nuts.
